Pre-school Etobicoke Programs
In keeping with our philosophy, we guide the children and extend their learning through various group activities. We focus on building a solid foundation of fundamental skills, strongly emphasizing understanding of letters, numbers and basic vocabulary. Each child practices math and number concepts using age-appropriate materials to organize, sort, count, build, and sequence. We further utilize stimulating activities to introduce the children to science and the world around them.
There are many interactive events enjoyed by the class that includes books, stories, games, projects, and songs based on widely accepted curricular themes that are introduced in a whole-group setting, extending to small-group work and individual lessons. We present a print-rich environment and foster a love of reading to allow the children to practice literacy skills in real-life situations.

Developing Knowledge
Parents will notice their children begin to develop a rich vocabulary and use of language throughout the year. This is, in large part the result of informal conversations with their teachers. The world of self-expression opens up to them, both in words and ideas.
In addition to the core subjects, children will further learn through activities such as dramatic play, arts and crafts, water stations, building centres, dress up, sensory, cognitive and various challenging stations set up by the teachers for your child to experience. Daily circle time is where they will participate in music, singing, creative movements, circle prayer and story time.
The rewarding result of our stimulating program is that children progress without pressure, and their learning is developed through self-motivation and encouragement.
